Brown University claimed the top spot in this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll, while Western Washington University and Williams College topped the Division II and III polls, respectively.
In Division I, Brown edged the University of Southern California for the top spot in this week’s rankings. Both squads earned 11 of 25 first-place votes. Ohio State ranked third, followed by Yale and California. Yale earned one first-place vote, as did Princeton and Washington.

Western Washington was a unanimous choice for the top spot in the Division II poll, earning all five first-place votes. Dowling College ranked second, while the University of California at San Diego ranked third.

Williams College received six of seven first-place votes to take the top spot in the Division III poll. Trinity College earned one first-place vote to rank second. Colby College ranked third, followed by the United States Coast Guard Academy and William Smith College.
