University of Washington claims the top spot for Division I, while Florida Institute of Technology and Western Washington University are tied for the top spot in Division II, and Wesleyan University and Bates College are tied atop the third regular season USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Poll presented by Pocock Racing Shells.
Washington holds the lead position after being ranked fourth last week, now with 24 of the 25 available first-place votes to earn them the spot over last weeks number one University of California, Berkeley (one first-place vote).
To round out the top five, University of Michigan was third. The Ohioe State University was fourth and University of Texas moves up a spot this week into fifth.
In the DII poll, Florida Institute of Technology (three first-place votes) and Western Washington University (two first-place votes) are tied at the top. The University of Central Oklahoma moved up a spot to take third and Humboldt State University moved up into fourth. Nova Southeastern University was fifth.
Wesleyan University remains at the top of the DIII poll receiving five first-place votes, but this week with company, as Bates moves up a spot and is now tied for first also with five first-place votes. Williams College was third, Wellesley College was fourth and Ithaca College was fifth.
