University of Virginia, Western Washington University and Williams College earned the top spots in this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association polls presented by Pocock Racing Shells.
Virginia received 19 of 25 first-place votes to remain atop the Division I rankings. University of California took the second spot in this week’s poll, receiving four first-place votes. University of Michigan, Princeton University and Stanford University rounded out the top five. Stanford received one first-place vote, while sixth-ranked University of Southern California received the other first-place vote.
In Division II, Western Washington University was again a unanimous choice for the top spot, taking all five first-place votes. Mercyhurst University ranked second, followed by Humboldt State University. Nova Southeastern University and Barry University rounded out the top five.
Williams College was also a unanimous choice for the top spot in the Division III poll. Williams received all 10 first-place votes. Bates College ranked second, followed by William Smith College, Wellesley College and Trinity College.
